How do i go about putting a tacho on my motor. Do i have to get one that plugs into the control box or is there some sort of generic one available? Thanks

You should get one one from Tohatsu, but you may be able to find a generic that will work. Matching a generic is sometimes a problem due to the pole settings.

Ok. I now have said tacho. Of the 4 wires that come out of the control box, which is the signal?<br />From my auto experience it is usually the green one. Is this correct? Also, what is the white wire for?

One more thing. What are the pole settings for the 90hp?

The yellow is signal and the white is ground. And it's a six pole.
