Will Tohatsu dealers do/honor Nissan warranty and vice versa? Does this apply in Canada as well as US?

I'm thinking of getting one of these and wondering if I need to get the label sold by the marina I'd have to use when I'm in Canada.

Yes, all Tohatsu dealers can do warranty work on Nissan's and vice versa in the US & Canada.

Both brands are handled by the same distributor in N. America so the dealers can do warranty for each brand. In Canada, all the dealers are dual-dealers (ie: they sell, and service, both Nissan & Tohatsu brands). In the US, for the most part, the dealers can sell one brand but they can service both brands.
