Hi, I converted my little 2 stroke 9.9 into a 15hp by swapping the main jet in the carb. I've heard from a lot of people that I shouldn't do it. The motor seems to run fine and there is a power increase. Have I screwed up my motor?

Don't think you have. Also don't think you've turned it into a 15hp as that should take more than just a jet.

Keep an eye on your fuel consumption and the motor temperature.

Why not put in an even bigger jet and make it a 25??

More gas without more air just makes a rich running engine that will carbon up, foul plugs and empty your fuel tanks quicker. . . .not a good idea.

If you want to hop up your Nissan, first learn how engines and carburetors work.
