tohatsu made my merc?

hey all im looking at getting a 15hp shortshaft merc from 2003 (4stroke) i hear tohatsu makes the smaller mercs but i have also heard of yammy merc mixes? what was going on the the 15hp for 2003? thanks

also any thoughts on this year model? it looks good and apparently has very low hours.

But tohatsu does make some Mercs. Guru will be able to tell you if your model is one of them.

Nope, that's the crappy Yamaha/Mercury hybrid.

Just a little crappy. Actually the only thing wrong with it is that the relationship between Mercury and Yamaha is awful now...It should not impact your usage as the warranty is long gone anyway.
