Finally got my Tohatsu M70A2 running today. When it started the idle was too high!! I backed off the idle stop screw until things sounded fine. The information I am looking for is 1) The initial idle stop screw setting - that is how many turns out? and 2) How many turns out on the adjust screws?
I am pretty good with motor. I have a 1970 BMW air head that has a carb for each cylinder and it runs sweet. Oh that reminds me, is there a port on the Tohatsu carbs to attach carb vacuum gages? Thanks again for every one's help any suggestions.
