Tohatsu M40C Help please...

When motor is in gear, I can't get throttle past the halfway position like it's still in the neutral position. I don't want to start messing around with linkages. Can someone please tell me what to adjust so I get full throttle position again.

What is actually the symptom? Does the throttle jam at 1/2 way, and won't go more, or does the control go all the way, and yet the carb doesn't open all the way? If it's a Remote, the control cable has probably jumped out of its gate.

Tiller handle stops at half throttle, like it does when in neutral....thanks

To achieve full wot, grip must be fully turned to resting position, once there, shift lever to forward position...only then can play with whole throttle range.
