Tohatsu jet conversion

I have a 2000 Tohatsu 40hp 3 cylinder outboard jet drive. Can this motor be converted to prop drive by simply swapping lower units?

Its an easy conversion. The trick will be finding a lower unit from a junked 40 or 50. I would watch ebay or try Twin City Outboards. I have seen a few DOA Tohatsu/ Nissan 40/50's come thru ebay. Twin City Outboard seems to have everything under the sun.
