Tohatsu 90 TLDI questions...

1 . well i bought this motor a year ago. and i must say its d bomb..the only thing that bothers me is that sometimes the 3 lights on the tacho start to blink and this is done on and off before i start d motor. sometimes it does it sometimes it does not. the motor works fine. no probs what so ever. i had the tech over and said that nothing is wrong with the motor and he couldn't understand what was wrong.

2. i leave my boat in saltwater for all summer and have been told by the tech that i should always tilt up d motor and let it out of the saltwater..but other ppl say the contrary.. :S what shall i do?

3. i changed the gear oil before summer and used the boat alot i must say up to now..shall i change the gear oil or shall it wait for next year..

Tilt the engine up for storage and the fault code does indicate a problem. In your case it is a broad fault code that has to be further refined, but, it sounds like low voltage due to a battery issue.
