I have a problem with a 50 hp Tohatsu which will not take revolutions when engaged.
The engine was bought from new in 2005, and just taken out of winter storage. On the water it now cannot reach the proper RPM - it runs at less than 50% performance.
When in neutral it has no problems reaching full RPM.
Carburetors were drained before winter storage.
Any suggestions will be appreciated
