Tohatsu 30A4 2s - Rebuilt LU - Break In?

Hi - Just rebuilt the lower unit on a 2002 30A4 - When running for the first time since rebuild, what break-in procedure should I follow? The one in the manual? Or is that more for the Powerhead?

All Gearing has been replaced, along with the ball race for the driveshaft - This had collapsed allowing the pinion gear and shaft to move upwards, the result being a very chipped/worn gearset...

Your help and advice would be much appreciated

Change the gear oil in ten to twenty hours.
