tohatsu 25 h.p to 30 h.p

Hi. I have just bought a new 25 h.p 2 stroke tohatso. My dealer said all i need do to increase the h.p to a 30 h.p is change the carbotetor gasket as the 25 gasket is restricted the 30 is not. I have changed the gasket but now been told i have to change the carboretor jets is this true please.thank you. tom tom

No, it's not true. The carb is the same. The gasket is the only difference.
