Tohatsu 20HP w/push button elect start to key start

I have a 2008 Tohatsu 20 HP 4-stoke SS (MFS20CEFS)

I was wondering is anyone knows how to change the normal push button electric start and kill switch stop to a key start/stop with the kill switch. I don't like having to reach all the way to the engine to start and stop the engine, and would also like the relative security (slightly more difficult to get started and steal or for the kids to joy ride) of having a removable key. I would like to mount the key remote from the engine in a little dash with a tach.

You just need the ignition wiring harness and a keyswitch. It's about $210.00 for the factory stuff...Or you can get a generic switch and some BS wire and do it for about $25.00.

If you mount a tach, be sure to use one that can be set for 12-pole. The Tohatsu unit is very good/accurate, but a bit on the pricey side.
