Tohatsu 2020 Mfs8b conversion to 9.8 HP

I bought the 2020 tohatsu Mfs8b for mij takacat 340 lx and its a lot fun ,but a little more power would be more fun .

So i surched the internet and came accros this forum .
i Read an old post on the forum (tohatsu guru) that discuused a 8 to 9.8 HP bij rejetting the carb but is was A older model tohatsu/nissan

Could this be done with the newer models

On new models usually it's a complete cab swap, a matter to check both model's spare parts...

You need the bigger 9.8 carb. There are 2 versions; one for tiller and one for remote.

Oke thanks for the replay got the tiller version, one thing looked at the diagram and IT looks like that 8 and 9.8 are the same the only thing what i can see is that the Jets are different its a 2018 diagram
