Tohastsu tacho

Hi guys, I've just purchased a new Tohatsu 30hp 2 stoke with electric start on remotes for a 13ft Boston whaler.<br /><br />I wanted to fit a tacho so I could run it in correctly, but was quoted £160 ($256) for a Tohatsu one. This seems way over the top to me. Can anyone recommend another make that would do the job? as I really don't know what to look for.<br />I've purchased a Cylmer manual and identified the connections, and it seems basic enough to fit one. <br />Thanks Manxman

Look up Tiny Tach. I think they are only about $40.

Thanks steelespike, I've found a supplier on Ebay USA who will ship to the UK when I get a Paypal account set up.<br /><br />I couldn't find anything like that listed in the UK.
