Image2.jpg Need to replace several of the nuts. Switch is fine but some of the nuts are plastic and are cracking. Any ideas where to get just the nuts?

Once you know the exact size, you can buy them at a lot of places. They are not all the same size.

The source in Canada and Radio Shack in the USA, I think Radio Shack is still active in the USA.

Mouser Electronics, Parts Express, Electronic Gold Mine, All Electronics and the list grows. Most any place that sells toggle switches probably can get you some. But you have to know the diameter and thread pitch. Some are metric while others are SAE. I haven't checked but maybe even a place like Fastenal could have them. If all else fails, you could contact the original manufacturer of the toggle switches and see if they have some. :noidea:

The fine thread of the tube found in many table lamps is often the same as that on toggle switches, so if you've got an old redundant lamp around .....
