Nice fish, I wish I could help but almost all trout around here are river or stream fish. We have one lake but I have never fished it because of distance and I like getting away on a stream it is one of the lures of freshwater trout fishing to me.
jberry--congratulations!! I have very good luck trolling panther martins usually the black with yellow spots or the yellow with red spots. I've also had luck with various colors of Mepps spinners. What did you catch yours on? MB
mountainboy, i was useing s spoon, yellow/ red lighting bolt on it. thanks for ur answering, yes i have used panther martins but the treble hooks are very small but they work good .I will try the mephs. good fishing to ya.
