Hi J.B., you mentioned that I may have a blown bottom crank seal. I did neglect to mention that after running the motor for a short time that it does leak oil from the bottom end somewhere. I s this probably the case? Is it a major undertaking to repair this. From reading my manual, I assume the powerhead must be removed. How do I check for the leaking bypass plate. I pulled off the reed block and they all appear to be in good shape. Thanks for all your help, Jeff Yoscovits.
