I know I am way ahead of myself, I would like to know if anyone has ever used the spray in coating to replace the carpet. I seems to me that carpet would hold more water and be harder to clean. and will the spray in stick to the plywood?

thanks charles

First, it won't have to stick to the wood, because the wood will be covered with fiberglass. Look in the building and restoration forum. There is more info than you can imagine on floor replacement, stringer replacement, etc.

my son had a 16ft star craft that had a kind of floor mat vinyl kind of stuff.
this was glued to plywood to form the deck. it was peeling up in spots and weathered. it came up pretty easy and we were going to use rino-liner on the plywood as it was in good shape.
he got a chance to sell the boat before we got it done but i think it would have worked great.
