Timing chain

Is there a difference between a marine timing chain or car timing chain on reverse rotation motor? If I were going to rebuild a reverse rotation motor could I just change the cam, starter and distributor or does it involve more?

Well,..... You don't give enough Info to properly Answer your Question........

If, by chance we're talking about a Chevy based motor,.....

The Timing Chain,+ Sprockets are Swapped for Timing Gears......

That allows the Crankshaft to turn CW, while the Cam,+ Dist. continue to rotate in the Same direction they always Do.......
