I have a 1979 Johnson motor 175 hp that has a broken timing advance linkage...it is a short rod with plastic balls at each end...where can I purchase one of these? I cannot find this part and I am uncertain what the part is named or what the part # is...thank you

Likely you need a spark advance rod. 320950. That original part is NLA. Replaced by 308743. Stocked in all Bombardier warehouses. About $ 4. The ball joint 313703 is NLA, but stock is avail on superceded part 395448, about $ 7.
