Generally the idle pickup timing for those ADI ignitions is 0-9* ATDC. That is the timing setting with the carbs closed, but ready to open.

The timing at idle speed is not specified or important, once idle pickup timing and max spark advance (21*BTDC) is set properly.

Awsome THANK YOU
Mine is at 7
But still don't Scream like it used to. Rebuilding the carbs right now hoping that solves the problem Melted a piston last year replaced it rings homed out Good compression and replaced the trigger I broke. When I put it on a lake it's only at 75% of its power Any ideas why

What kind of sealer did you use when closing up the block ?---Does spark jump a gap of 3/8" on all leads ?----Wires from switch boxes hooked up to correct coils ?

Crankcase must be sealed with--- loctite 518---or equivalent.----No RTV to be used.----The question was-----Does spark jump a gap of 3/8" on all leads?----The question is not what kind of plugs are in the motor.----V-6 motors run remarkably well on 5 of 6 cylinders.

You want to test / put ignition through it paces.---See if it develops designed output.---So does spark jump a gap of 3/8" or more on each lead.----You can do yourself a favour by learning to do this test !!

These outboards are not tuned like you are tuning a Car from the 60s or 70s. There is no Spec for Idle Timing, as the Timing is what is adjusted to get the desired Idle Speed.
Melting a Piston, usually requires more than just Honing a Cylinder, and putting in a new Piston and Rings. What caused the Meltdown, lean Carb?

'75% of its power'.
Sounds like a dead/weak Cylinder.

As previously mentioned; Spark, leaky Crankcase. You have Carbs on the to-do list. Make sure to do a Link and Sync once it is back together
