Hello, I have a Merc Optimax 2004 225hp. The pin that's sticking out in the pictures, was wondering if that was supposed to be seated flush? There's a hole on the backside of it can go through, but its not sticking through. That pin is collared and tapered, and doesn't have a small hole in the back of it to put a cotter pin through to hold it. Should I tap it in flush, or is that how its supposed to be? Thanks!
