Tilted Drive Down - Oil Came Out - Now no leak??

All,

My bro in law tilted his drive down from being up and some drive fluid came out of the small vent holes. He has left it down and prepared for more drive fluid to come out, but nothing has shown up after a few days.

Any ideas on where this leak might be?

Why isn't more coming out?

Probably leaked out at some point in time because pressure in the drive forced it out a seal. The increased pressure could have been solely because the drive was in the sun and got warm.

Need to drain all the lube and pressure test the drive.
