i have hydrolic fluid leaking from behind assembly, its not the cylinders but looks like its comng from where the pump motor attaches is this possible?

btw my motor is a 2004 f 150

you need to look and find where it is leaking

I took the unit completely off. its leaking between the motor and the unit, attached with 3 allen type screws, btw they all broke. beat the motor off the unit bunch of o rings and jets oh boy. time for a new motor ? lol

been doing homework...i think i need a new gear pump assy. is this something i should try or give the unit to a shop?

from what you have written so far I would recommend taking to a qualified shop
