Tilt/Trim

I just replaced tilt/trim switch on the throttle handle. Switch was replaced because spring on up side was bad and motor stayed tilted as high as it would go. Connected green to green, blue to blue, and red power wires. Problem is that switch will not work on the up side. Down side works fine. Also switch at engine works fine both ways so I am assuming relays are good.
Is there a fuse anywhere that could be causing this? I have replaced wire connector on blue wire thinking I had a bad connection.

Re: Tilt/Trim

Try swapping the green and blue wires. If the up side now works you have a bad switch. If not you have a wiring problem. The red does go to the center connector doesn't it?

Re: Tilt/Trim

Green to green lowers motor, and is working, red wire is hooked up to only other wire available. blue to blue is not working. i will try blue to green to see if up side of switch works.
