Replaced my tilt trim motor and my engine came up but now it won't go back down. I hear the motor running but nothing happens. Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong.
with it right up,check youve got oil coming out the level plug hole,that will tell you oil levels ok.unscrew the release screw 1 turn,and let motor down,and retry going up and down.make sure Down solenoid is being activated.If nothing works after that,something is wrong with the internals,and will need to be taken apart again:
