Morning gentleman I'm hoping someone has run across this issue and can advise. I have a 1977 85hp V4 on a 1979 VIP H-15 Tournament bass boat. I pulled the transom tilt motor last night to double ck a few part numbers before I ordered. on the bottom hyd line plate that mounts to the end of the reservoir has 5 bolts (pentagon shaped) and on that plate/cap is a part # 172655 the one I was to order this am says its a direct replacement for that model but has 4 bolt mounting for that cap? has anyone run across this ?
