tilt/trim losing fluid

Yamaha sterndrive

Finally got the boat I bought out on the lake this weekend. Only run it a while and noticed that the sterndrive was not staying down. found the reservoir was very low. just had filled it before I took it out. where could the fluid be going dont see any signs from the lines. Where to start checking?

well it has to be going somewhere check the lines that are on the out drive,there are 2 nuts try a half turn mine was leaking from there ,when your running it if those are loose it would leak out into the water as mine was,try looking at the pump area have someone work the switch if its leaking you should see it,dont know any other place other than the main hydro part of the out drive.good luck
