Tilt trim conversion

has anyone tryed to put a late 80's trim assembly on a mid 70 engine.

I have looked at this but have not taken any measurements, dont know if its possible with out major work.

If you are referring to the 1976 V4 motor, no, it will not work.

a late 80's force trim system will fit a 1970's Chyrsler perfectly. Other than that I think you have to know the actual engines and trim systems in question.
