Does a tilt tube/steering tube fit on a 25hp evinrude 1983 rope start without changing the entire transom bracket?
second question, can I manufacture the tube myself, having a hard time finding a used one in good condition in Sweden
Yes you can fabricate that tube and mount it just below the clamps.----Too bad you are across the ocean.---Have dozens of those tubes on hand here.----Or perhaps a shop at ----evinrudeparts.ca ----May be able to help you.
