The Tilt/Run lever (actually it's a plastic knob you twist) on my recently acquired 1982 7.5 Evinrude is broken off leaving only a nub that you can't grasp with your hand to turn.
According to the owner's manual, this is the "selector" that you use when you want to go into reverse without the motor coming out of the water. What does it do? Has anybody replaced or repaired one of these things? Is the part available?
