I have a 1988 Force 85HP. I few weeks ago I was trying (for the first time) to turn the knob that locks the engine in the lowered position (it is not a power tilt). It wouldn't turn, then the knob broke right off! There is a small metal piece that the knob was attatched to that turns to lock the engine down but I cannot grip it and it seems to be completely stuck. What can I do to unfreeze it?? It's not fun when I throw it in reverse and the engine kicks up out of the water!<br /><br />Any help would be appreciated!
