After the replys on my earlier post on tilt lever lock problem, I went out to the boat and took another look around I felt as if the lever was nor functioning correctly or??
There is a wire clip that holds the wire harness for the tilt trim motor that was positioned wrong and was fouling the tilt lock lever (Photo) I gently bent the clip outward just enough to allow the lever the rotate all the way down. Thanks to all who posted in the earlier post. I guess I just had to have a fresh look at it. Now I will tackle the repair of the Tilt trim motor leak at the wiper seal.
