My tilt just broke on 1 of my twin 1988 Yamaha 200's.
I was out the other day, tilt did not work, got to the dock it worked, put boat on mooring did not work, flaky, has not worked since.
I just get a click noise on the engine where the wires go from the tilt motor. I think I can hear the same click on the working enging but the sound of the tilt going up I cannot be positive.
The box that makes the click, is that a relay switch or something, it's just a square plastic box that the wires connect to inside.
Is there something I can check after the relay/switch/box that may be the issue?
I can hear the click from the helm, and when I attempt to tilt right at the engine tilt control.
