ive got a 92 dt 140 that needs tilt and trim replaced could i use a cmc pt130 its rated for 7800 lb's of thrust but its max hp rating is 130 whats your suggestions?
I've never been satisfied with their ability to trim under full throttle. It also sets your motor back which may be a good or a bad thing. I think you'd be best off replacing or repairing what you have.
the original is no longer available and its the same price to put a new cmc as it is to get a used one? why do you say good or bad? whats the good points and whats the bad points of having it set back?
