Tilt and trim unit for 50hp Johnson.

Does anybody know if a tilt and trim unit from a mid 80’s 70 HP Johnson/Evinrude 3 cylinder will fit on a mid 80’s Johnson 50 HP 2 cylinder engine?

No it will not. Your 50 uses the 2 external rams the 3 cylinder uses the internal 3 ram system they do not interchange.
