Re: tillston

hello and welcome,

try searching for a link (and) sync in the chrysler outboard forums...

here is one...

http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=264880&highlight=link+sync

there are three holes with black rubber plugs in the breather bolted to the front of the carbs, I usually just take the breather right off so i can check the condition and look inside the carbs themselves...

flat head screw in each of the holes adjusts the air mixture...

one word of caution, do not leave them screwed in all the way because you will melt the pistons and that will get really expensive...just seat them very carefully and turn them counter clockwise (out) about one full turn...

search for and read alot of the posts about carburator adjustment before trying it yourself, because if you do it wrong you will be bumming...:(

good luck
