I have a 25/30hp Nissan electric start. Pump primer bulb until it is firm, make sure it is in neutral, pull choke out and push starter button. It usually starts with one push or two. If it acts like it wants to start but doesn't, I push the choke in and turn the handle a little and it always starts. No choke or turn on the handle if it is already warmed up. Make sure the vent on your gas take is open if you have one.
