I installed a tiller arm on this motor and for some reason the throttle has a lot of pull back on it. It has the feeling of being spring loaded and as soon as I take pressure off of throttle it snaps back and I loose power. Its just a chore. Ive lubed all the correct areas. Anyone have advice for me? Thanks Ronnie

I have the same motor & it does not do this, but I have a 75 Jonny that does just as you describe (seems spring loaded) I'l take a look at them tomorrow and see if I can see what the cause might be.
