Probably has an oring seal on the nose and oxidation holding it in. I had an extremely hard time with several on Kawasaki, Sea doo and Yamaha dont expect that one to be any different. You will have to wiggle and pry on it somehow. Mine were all low and hard to see and get to and I wound up removing parts to do so (exhaust I believe). Good luck
