I have a 1999 Tige 2100 V drive. at about 30 mph it jumps out of the water. It has the Taps System but it has not worked in several years. I am wondering if the trim tab has somehow moved into a bad position. I also recently had to replace the wiring harness and ecm and fuel injection. The parts came off a 2018 or 2019 boat. Any thoughts or suggestions.

thanks

I’d say that a full tank of fuel, water in any rear ballast tanks and passengers in the back, would cause such an effect

No ballast tanks. No more people in the boat than normal if anything less. I always start with a full tank its never been a problem. Tank is more center of boat.

Ok. I’m not totally sure what you mean maybe. So is it porpoising on plane you mean ? Or you mean when it accelerates?

Sounds like porpoising. Would recommend getting your trim tab system back in working order. This is most likely the cause. That's why they are there to begin with. What system does it have? Are both not working?
