I checked this forum last nite to see what commentary I could find.<br />Walmart is my best local retailer for fish finders. The one local marine store only carries high<br />end stuff. It's a 45 minute drive into the city for a broader selection.<br /><br />My choices boiled down to Eagle or Hummingbird. Based on the advice here, I bought the Eagle.<br />In particular I chose the Cuda 168ex... I picked it because of the larger view screen. Price may have <br />been a factor, but as it ended up, the large screen unit was on the lower end of the scale.<br />I paid $117.<br /><br />I wish they'd offered a dual frequency unit. I may have opted to pay more for that versatility.<br /><br />I'll install it tomorrow, but don't know if I'll get my boat in the water.
