Thunderbolt IV ignition advance. How to tell if working?

How can I tell if my ignition advance is working?<br />I'm assuming its mechanical advance on the distributor.<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />Jay

Set the base timing at factory spec. and increase the RPM and ck it with a light most manuals will give the advance curve

It is not a mechanical or vacuum advance, the magic is within the module.
