I have a 1979 115hp Evinrude with no tachometer. What RPM range is possible using the warm up lever?

Try stating the problem first, you'll get better response.

My engine warms up around 1100 then drops to 700 automatically.
I keep it at 800-900 for half a minute then drop the rpm to idle.

Re: Throttle/rpm question

I rebuilt my motor and want to run it in the driveway on muffs for about 20 minutes at 600-1500 rpms for the initial break in. Since I don't have a tach I am wondering what range is possible with the warm up lever so as not to go over the 1500 rpm.

Idle speed is between 600 and 1500 rpm. Just let it idle. I wouldnt let it idle continuously for twenty minutes.

Maybe 10 minutes check it over and take her to the lake for the rest of the initial break in.

So the warm up lever only takes the rpms up to 1500 rpms?

Re: Throttle/rpm question

IF my tach is right, my warmup lever takes the motor to 1800 rpms,
