When I go at wide open throttle my motor bogs down a bit.When i pull back a bit it runs fine.When I try to stay at a steady 4500 rpms the motor seems to want to run away sometimes to 5500 0r 6000 rpms. I try to tap it back just a little and it drops back to 4000 or less.Its a 1987 or 88 Evinrude 40 horse with a disabled vro.Also I use high test should I be using regular. Thanks for any help.
