Hello,
I had noticed that my throttle cam was not touching the roller, giving me some dead space on my remote. Below is a before and after photo. After making the proper adjustments, I wanted to check my range of motion. Granted the motor was not running I pushed in the black button and moved the shifter to max. I saw that my dead space was gone and all was well. But the throttle cam only moved about 1/4 of a rotation. After about a half an hour and being totally frustrated, I saw there was a tab under the head that prevented WOT. When you put it in gear the tab moves out of the way. Once in gear the cam is free to move all the way around and while this is happening the timing gets advanced. I hope this may help someone or if incorrect please reply with a correction.
