Hi trying to get some decent throttle adjusement on my boat, what happens is it idles and runs fine at all revs, but when trying to move at 5 knots which is approx 12/1400rpm i have to push the throttle to 2000rpm then ease it back down to the revs i want, do it to quick and it drops to idle.
Its like theres not enough resistance to hold the lever in place.
So i stripped the covers and lever off to see a little adjustment screw, thing is this doesnt seem to make any difference.
Im not sure if this is the original throttle or if a new one was fitted with the new engine and sterndrive three years ago?
