If you have the 2004 model of QuickSilver control, you will need a Merc cable or TeleFlex Merc Gen II cable set.<br /><br />The older Merc motors used a non-standard connector at the motor & controller. They just used a TeleFlex cable & adapter. <br /><br />The QuickSilver 4000 series needs a special cable since it has different connectors on each end. I think Merc & TeleFlex are the only available souces.<br /><br />This site can probably supply you with either brand. Make sure of the QuickSilver model number & engine year.<br /> <br />Red
