Throttle cable replacement

I have just replaced the throttle cable on a older merc. 75 hp outboard. I have never done this before and am wondering if any adjustments need to be made after doing this?

If adjustments are required, it depends on the job itself.

If adjustments are required for your particular application to get everything operating correctly, do them.

If the change out went well and you have no issue, move on.
