Throttle cable issues

Own a 2000 Four Winns Sundowner 205, Volvo Penta 4.3 Gi TBI. Two months ago I replaced the throttle cable and yesterday it stop working. When try to speed the boat I can't because it is stuck. Beside the cable what other points I have to check to see if there is another part damaged.

Did you use the lock nuts on the cable end terminals? Disconnect the cable from the Throttle body, if still locked up, disconnect the cable from the control itself and see if it works.

PS: you didn't go out and put a bunch of clamps and/or cable ties on the throttle and shift cables close to where they mount in the box did you?

I have not touch anything yet. I will follow your recommendation to see what happen.
